ANNOUNCEMENTS

OCTOBER!

A. As we head into October, the board is preparing for upcoming season duties. During our August parent meeting, we set a fundraising goal of $20,000. We have already secured a few sponsor commitments, including Dubon Realty at the Dragon Level, Raising Cane's at the Gold Level, and Rock Ridge Dental Esthetics at the Dragon Level. Here is the "editable letter" again for the girls to send out.

B. Season Volunteers: Your involvement drives the success of our program. Please take a look at the Volunteer Tab on the website. Concession Lead/Concessions/Game Day Meal Reps/Team Dinners are important to fulfill prior to season starting. Happy to say our Principal, Mr. Butler, committed to be our Varsity Home Game Day Announcer for our first pre-season game Oct 31 and first district game on Dec 11.

C. Kickoff Program Dinner/Meeting – Oct 21, 6:00 PM, 1100 Cafeteria. Pasta potluck dinner — please see the SIGN-UP to bring items. After the meeting, we will be handing out the merch items for those who ordered. For those who are still interested, please reach out to rrhswbb@gmail.com.

D. Raising Cane's Spirit Night - Mon Oct 26 6:00 PM located in the University Oaks Shopping Center at 261 University Oaks Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78665. Our organization receives 15% of sales from all customers who mention the event at the RR location. We will eat, take pictures together and a signed basketball from all levels will be displayed in the restaurant to represent RRHS Women's Basketball Program.

E. Team Media Day - WED OCT 28th - Location in the Main Gym. Freshman will begin at 3:00PM and JV/V will start right after school.
